Why This? Why Now?

I’m not one to attribute coordination of press “opinion”, meaning that nothing like a briefing emanates from the Mahogany Rows in media towers detailing today’s slant. More likely is the herding of like-minded people around terminology, a catch phrase or a theme launched by someone in a bar. Imitation and uniformity make life easier for the navvies of the news business.

Harry Reid is, for some reason, on the dunk tank for being what he has always been, a moral cretin and, very likely, a guiltless psychopath whose only stimuli are cruelty and bunko. The Democrats knew that, the media knew that. What’s  changed?
